Enjoy three-color pressed sushi on March 3rd (Tuesday), the Girls' Festival!
"Girls' Festival" (Hinamatsuri) is a traditional Japanese event that celebrates the healthy growth of girls.
The three-colored vinegared rice is a mix of green edamame (zunda), pink sakura denbu, and white sesame. It is luxuriously topped with shrimp, smoked salmon, shiso leaves, salmon roe, and green beans!
Mix thoroughly with sushi vinegar containing plenty of Jabura juice!
🎎 Pink is the color of hopeful spring light that blushes your cheeks.
🎎 White represents the all-encompassing purity of melting snow.
🎎 The green color represents the seeds of life quietly thriving underground.
Layer after layer, each layer is pressed together with the wish, "May it be delicious and healthy," and is filled with sincerity, prayers for health and happiness.
The salad is also a gorgeous assortment! Baby lettuce is layered with pickled rape blossoms, salted turnips, hassaku oranges, pickled cucumbers, boiled edamame beans, cherry tomatoes, pumpkin salad, and shrimp salad, and is topped with Kurosengokudon. Finally, a generous drizzle of fragrant Jabara dressing completes this super salad!
The scent of "Jabara" from Kitayama Village, Wakayama Prefecture, will add color to your dining table in "Japon" and "Jabara Fragrant Dressing."
It feels as if the life nurtured in a faraway land is resonating with the spirit of Hokuryu Town and spreading new "wings of co-creation."
The dish was accompanied by clam soup and daikon radish pickled in kelp and soy sauce.
Praying for the healthy growth and health of children, and gently melting the frozen world, these colorful pressed sushi rolls are filled with the flavors of spring and are filled with boundless love, gratitude, and prayers.
