In the silence of snow-covered Hokuryu Town, the flame of a candle lit in the window brings the warmth of early spring.
This Valentine's Day, our tables will be decorated with special "cocoa muffins" packed with the rich bounty of Hokuryu Town.
The muffin batter is made with healthy rice flour and golden sunflower oil. The muffin is topped off with Kurosengoku flakes, the town's pride and joy, and Jabara marmalade, a symbol of the town's bond with Kitayama Village in Wakayama Prefecture.
With just one bite, the refreshing acidity and sweetness of the jabara, along with the smooth Greek yogurt, gently envelop the deep richness of the cocoa.
It is as if the souls of two far-flung towns have joined hands in harmony on this muffin, playing a new story.
The souls intersect and resonate, cooking with sincerity for a loved one, and the time spent together is a treasure that cannot be replaced by anything else!!!
May our gratitude for the days we have spent supporting each other, our love for one another, and our quiet prayers for the world to be filled with a spirit of harmony reach the hearts of people all over the world.
