This year's new rice season has finally arrived in Hokuryu Town!!!
This is freshly harvested, plump, shiny, and exquisite new rice!
Accompanied by seasonal grilled salted saury, we were given heartfelt thanks for the delicious new rice of the year.
Freshly cooked rice from the new year, cooked in a clay pot with a shining silvery white finish!
Plump and shiny, with exceptional sweetness and aroma!
The main dish is sanma, accompanied by miso soup and side dishes (green beans dressed with salted kelp, carrot slaw, lotus root dressed with pickled vegetables, boiled adzuki beans, pickled takana mustard, and grated daikon radish).

The 2024 Hokuryu Sunflower Rice New Rice Thanksgiving Festival will be held at Hokuryu Town Agricultural and Livestock Direct Sales Store Minoritch Hokuryu on Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon). Come and try the freshly harvested, plump, shiny, and exquisite new rice!
