The Shinryu Shrine Autumn Festival Entertainment Karaoke Recital was held at the Hokuryu Town Community Center Large Hall from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th.

Nineteen members from three karaoke clubs in the town performed their wonderful songs, and the venue was filled with excitement as the audience of over 100 people were moved to tears.

Opening remarks: Festival Chairman Masami Komatsu

"For the first time, we have planned a karaoke competition to accompany the Shinryu Shrine Autumn Festival in 2023.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the singers and audience members who participated.

Due to the effects of COVID-19 over the past three years, all such gatherings and tournaments have been cancelled. Although COVID-19 has not yet been contained, we have planned this tournament to coincide with the Shinryu Shrine Autumn Festival.

We will be joined by members of the town's three karaoke clubs, shrine officials, and finally, honorary town resident, Mr. Kikura Ryoji, who will be giving the closing remarks.

There will be no singing judging this time. Every single participant will receive an award for excellence.

I hope you will enjoy this event to the fullest as much as time allows, and I would like to conclude my greetings with this. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
