The 2nd Hokuryu Kendama Club Hekisui Police Station Cup was held on Tuesday, April 2nd from 6:00 PM at the Hokuryu Town Community Center Large Hall (2nd floor). Approximately 30 people, including children and families of club members, participated, and the event was a great success.

April 3, 2024 (Wednesday) The Hokkaido Agricultural Guidance Ceremony for 2023 was held in Sapporo on February 19th, and Nagai Minoru of the Mibaushi Neighborhood Association was awarded the title of Agricultural Guidance Ceremony. Also awarded were Kato Ryo and Yotsutsuji Kazuya of the Hekisui Neighborhood Association.

The late Mr. Tsuyoshi Matsunaga was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays [Hokuryu Town Website]
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, the late Takeshi Matsunaga, a former Hokuryu Town Council member who passed away on November 2 of last year, was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays, a special award. Mr. Matsunaga served as a Hokuryu Town Council member for 32 years, from 1991 to 2011, and was a key figure in promoting local government.
