The Hokkaido Shimbun Digital website, operated by the Hokkaido Shimbun Press (Sapporo), has published an article (dated May 9th) entitled "Hokkaido Election Commission Sorachi Branch Establishes House of Councillors Election Implementation Headquarters," which we would like to introduce to you.

The article states, "The voter turnout in the last House of Councillors election in the Sorachi district (July 2022) was 57.03%, 0.08 points lower than the previous election in 2019. The highest turnout in the district was75.30% in Hokuryu TownThe lowest was Takikawa City at 52.27%.
