We would like to introduce an article (updated April 25th) titled "Fukagawa Fire Station Calls for Fire Prevention and Distributes Awareness Goods in Front of Supermarket" published on the Hokkaido Shimbun Digital website, operated by the Hokkaido Shimbun Co., Ltd. (Sapporo City).
The article states, "According to the association, there have been three fires in its jurisdiction (Fukagawa, Moseushi, Chichibetsu, Numata, and Hokuryu) as of the 25th of this month. Forest fires are more common during the dry months of April and May, and Hideki Hashi, head of the fire prevention section at the fire station, says, 'If a forest fire warning or alert is issued, please think about evacuating first.'"
