Hokuryu-cho Sunflower Tourism and Product Fair 2021 Poster
This year, the Sapporo Autumn Fair and various other events were cancelled due to the Corona Vortex. This year's Hokuryu Town Product Fair started as the first event after the lifting of the state of emergency declaration, which had been issued about four times so far.
The fair was held to promote the spread and expansion of Hokuryu Town's specialty products and tourism, and was organized by the Hokuryu Town Office, JA Kitasorachi Hokuryu Branch Office, Hokuryu Promotion Public Corporation, Kurosekishi Business Cooperative Association, and Hokuryu Construction Association, all of whom were involved in the event. Several staff members from each organization participated in the event, taking turns to enthusiastically promote the town of Hokuryu.

The young people who participated in the event, including Hokuryu Town Hall officials and members of the Hokuryu Town Construction Industry Association, made a heartfelt appeal of Hokuryu Town's attractions to the people who came and went incessantly at the Chikaho.

On the last day, the new rice was sold out by around 3:00 p.m., so the staff members in charge of rice went around to support the sale of the few remaining sunflower oil and kuro-sengoku soybeans. The entire staff cooperated with each other and gave their all for the final sales!
