Thursday, July 17, 2025 On Saturday, July 12, a grand celebration was held at Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen to celebrate former Hokuryu Town Mayor Yutaka Sano receiving the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays. A total of 118 people attended the celebration to honor his many years of contributions to local government.
