On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the Hokkaido Shimbun Press (Sapporo City) published an article titled "Hokuryu Cooperative Builds New Office to Promote Direct Sales of Kurosengoku Soybeans" (dated April 9) on its website, Hokkaido Shimbun Digital.
The new Kurosengoku Business Cooperative Association office and factory store opened on Monday, April 8th at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. Construction was undertaken by Hokko Construction Co., Ltd. (represented by Masahito Fujii), a local company, and the new office and factory store were opened in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, from Monday, June 10th to Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, the Kurosengoku Business Cooperative will be participating in the "Phantom Kurosengoku Soybean Fair" at Chi-Ka-Ho (Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Plaza). Customers in Sapporo have expressed their desire to see Kurosengoku soybeans for the first time in two to three months.
