The large hall was filled with a miraculous heat.
On Saturday, October 18th, the large hall of Hokuryu Town Community Center was filled with a warm, almost miraculous, excitement. The Hokuryu Town Sunflower Town Craft Marche Supported by Creema was a place where works filled with the soul of creators from all over the country met with the pure smiles of the people who came to see them. This beautiful event was about to begin.
It was not just a place where things were lined up. It was a place where people could meet and connect with each other through the "warmth of handiwork" that cannot be measured by efficiency or rationality, and it was a "plaza where a new form of harmony was born."

Living artworks and the exchange of "compassion"
As soon as you step inside the venue, you'll see the smiling faces of many people, transcending generations and positions. A woman gently picks up an accessory and squints at its delicate shine. People exchange warm words with the makers and share the joy of finding a favorite piece.
Each booth was filled with the pure passion of the makers, who said, "I love this," and the "kindness" that Hokuryu Town values, wanting to "make someone happy." This is the very essence of human warmth that modern society seems to have forgotten.
Hokuryu Town becomes a new "crossroads of encounters"
The sunflowers of Hokuryu Town drew about 30 Creema creators from all over the country to the town, and this was because the "warm Japanese spirit" that flows through this town resonated with the souls of the creators.
The venue also hosted fascinating workshops such as "Making a Small Knotted Flower Elastic Band / Frill Pouch," "Tsumami Zaiku Workshop: Choose from 120 Fabric Colors," and "Nanairo Wood and Leather / Woodworking and Leather Workshop." Visitors did not just buy the works, but experienced the "joy of creation" for themselves, and the emotions of the day were engraved in their hearts as a deeper "story." It was a wonderful sight.

This is the society we aim for.
Especially in this digital age, people seek the warmth of tactile sensations.
In this age where it's easy to feel lonely, people seek out encounters with whom they can connect.
This event was a moving moment, as a new seed of "handcraftsmanship" was sown in the soil of the "spirit of harmony" that is Hokuryu Town, and blossomed into a beautiful flower, a "circle of smiles."
What we saw here was not competition or division, but rather a form of "co-creation" in which people respected and shared what they loved. This is precisely the kind of society that people all over the world long for deep in their hearts and hope to create.
With boundless love, gratitude, and prayers, we hope that the warmth of this handiwork, together with the "spirit of harmony" of Hokuryu Town, will become a light that illuminates the hearts of people all over the world at the "Sunflower Town Craft Marche."
