On June 7 (Fri.), employees of the Hokuryu Town Hall joined the Isshin-kai, an employees' friendship group. The employees of the town office participated in a tree-planting activity as part of the environmental beautification activities of the association.

On that day, the activity is to plant sunflowers and other flower seedlings along Route 275 road.
At 5:30 p.m., after the end of the workday, all the staff members come together at once to work on the project, bringing large shovels in their military hands.
We planted sunflowers in several flower beds along the sidewalks. These sunflowers are 100-flowering sunflowers that bloom from early summer to late fall; one plant can produce more than 1,000 flowers in one season, making them small and pretty.
Other flower seedlings were provided by the Hokkaido Development Bureau's Volunteer Support Program.
