The Hokuryu Town COVID-19 Response Headquarters would like to inform you about the state of emergency declaration.
Hokkaido has declared a state of emergency due to the new coronavirus.
We ask that you refrain from unnecessary outings over the weekend of February 29th (Saturday) and March 1st (Sunday).
In addition, to prevent infection, we ask that you take measures to prevent infection, such as cough etiquette and washing your hands frequently.

Information about COVID-19 will be distributed to neighborhood association presidents in March. It will also be posted on the town's website.

The Hokuryu Town COVID-19 Countermeasures Headquarters would like to inform you about the cancellation and postponement of various meetings and other events as part of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Hokuryu Town established a COVID-19 Countermeasure Headquarters on Tuesday, February 25th to take measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As a result of discussions at the emergency response headquarters, we would like to inform you that meetings and events hosted by the town from Thursday, February 27th to Wednesday, March 18th will be scaled down or postponed.
We ask all residents to refrain from going out if they have cold symptoms or are feeling unwell in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
