Friday, January 30, 2026: In 2026, the Hokuryu Town Sunflower Festival will celebrate its 40th anniversary. A sea of yellow sunflowers, covering a 23-hectare hill, will be adorned with 2 million sunflowers, and the townspeople will be united in their spirit of harmony. Special 40th anniversary events are also planned.
