We would like to introduce an article (dated February 6th) that has been published on the Hokkaido Shimbun Digital website operated by the Hokkaido Shimbun Press (Sapporo City) entitled "Hokuryu Old Hekisui Station to be opened to the public for a special occasion on the 14th, decorated with children's drawings and chocolates to be distributed."

The article states, "Hokuryu: The old Hekisui Station building on the JR Sapporo-Numazu Line will be specially opened to the public for a Hekisui Station Open Day event on the 14th, attracting people from inside and outside the town. The event was planned by Masato Sakai (29), a member of the town's regional revitalization support team, so that train fans and children could enjoy it."
