On Friday, November 4, 2022, Sergeant Yuki Hoshino (30), of the Hekisui Police Station, Community Affairs Division, Fukagawa Police Station, Asahikawa District, Hokkaido Prefectural Police, put up a banner with the message "If you receive a scam call, call #9111" to prevent victims from being victimized by scam calls.
