The first "Monthly Activity Report Meeting for Village Supporters and Community Revitalization Cooperation Teams" was held on Monday, June 17th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Hokuryu Town Hall conference room.
This is the first forum for cross-sectional information exchange in the 15 years since Hokuryu Town first appointed local revitalization cooperation team members in 2010.
Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki, Deputy Mayor Toshimasa Takahashi, the head of the town planning and promotion department, two village supporters, three community revitalization cooperation team members, and one volunteer participated in the meeting. They reported on and exchanged opinions about the status of activities as of May 2024.
Going forward, it is expected that monthly activity report meetings will be held on an ongoing basis, which will encourage active cross-sectional information exchange between supporters and team members, leading to further expansion of activities.
