On February 8 (Thu.) from 10:00 to 17:00, "Chika Hokkaido, a PR Event for Municipalities in Hokkaido" was held by the City of Sapporo (Planning Division, Policy Planning Department, City Planning Policy Bureau) at Kita 3-jo Crossing Plaza, an underground pedestrian space in front of Sapporo Station. Fifteen cities, towns, and villages in Hokkaido participated in the event, promoting their cities and towns and selling their specialties.

From Hokuryu Town, officials from the town office, Sunflower Park Hokuryu Hot Springs staff, and Kurosekishi Business Cooperative staff participated, selling a variety of sunflower rice, sunflower oil, and Kurosekishi soybean products to promote the appeal of their products!

The Underground Walking Space is crowded with people even on a weekday during the Sapporo Snow Festival 2024.

People came and went incessantly from the start to the end of the event at the Kita 3-jo intersection plaza!　There was also TV coverage of the event!

Many people visited the Hokuryu Town booth as well!

Among the products on display, the popular Himawari Rice "Yumepirika" sold out early!

Many fans of Kuro Sengoku soybeans visited the booth and were constantly buying products related to Kuro Sengoku soybeans.

In particular, the renewed "Kuro Sengoku Soy Meat" sold out in no time!

We are honestly surprised that the renewed Kuro Sengoku Soy Meat has sold out due to its popularity.

A Youtube video of a dish using Kuro Sengoku soybean meat was shown on a smart phone. While watching the video, customers purchased the product, saying, "I didn't know such a dish could be made.

Since it is sometimes difficult to get an image of the product alone, perhaps showing a video of the finished dish would have made it easier to understand and purchase the product.

We are also planning to create a collection of recipes for dishes using Kuro Sengoku soybeans.

It was an enjoyable time filled with a sense of excitement, as if we had actually visited the town.

The time for the event ended at 5:00 p.m. in no time. The clean-up was done in 10 minutes!　Thank you very much for your hard work!
