Dining & Bar 179, a restaurant in the Hotel Paulstar Sapporo located across from the main building of the Hokkaido Government Office (Sapporo City), is holding the "Hokuryu-cho Kuro Sengoku Soybean Fair" during the month of March as part of the "Hotel Paulstar Sapporo Hokkaido 179 Municipal Products Fair. The fair is held at "Hotel Paulstar Sapporo Hokkaido 179 Municipal Products Fair" for one month in March.

Hokuryu Town Kuro Sengoku Soybean Fair: Kuro Sengoku Soybean Cuisine
- The hotel's top chefs prepare Kuro Sengoku soybean dishes for breakfast, dinner, and the lunch buffet held on weekends and holidays!
- The lunch buffet includes Keema Curry with Kuro Sengoku Soybeans, Kuro Sengoku Soybeans and Honey Marinated Kabocha Salad with Kuro Sengoku Soybeans, and hot fried Kuro Sengoku Soybeans, Kuro Sengoku Soybeans chips, Kuro Sengoku Soybeans ice cream, etc. at dinner time, A wide variety of dishes are offered!

Kuro Sengoku Soybean Hiryu-head and Seasonal Vegetable Oden
Hiryu-zu is a type of ganmodoki. It is made by mixing crumbled tofu with yams, eggs, and other ingredients, and deep frying it in oil with a vegetable filling.
Kuro Sengoku Soybean Flying Dragon Head is filled with soft boiled beans of Kuro Sengoku soybeans, Kuro Sengoku soybean meat, Kuro Sengoku soybean meat (sliced), carrots, hijiki, corn, shiitake mushrooms, and other vegetables!
It is simmered with hiryuzuto (black Sengoku soybeans) and vegetables such as daikon (Japanese radish), and the oden broth slowly soaks into the dish, making it a deeply flavorful dish.

Keema Curry with Kuro Sengoku Soybeans
- Keema Curry with Kuro Sengoku Soybean Meat instead of ground meat. This excellent keema curry has a gentle spiciness from the curry spices and a hint of sweetness from the Kuro Sengoku soybeans!
- The saffron rice (turmeric) is a mixture of Hokuryu Town rice Natsuboshi, germinated brown rice Natsuboshi, and glutinous rice Kazenoko. In addition, it contains cooked beans of Kuro Sengoku soybeans.
Honey Marinated Kabocha and Kuro Sengoku Soybean Salad
- The Honey Marinated Salad with Road Pumpkin and Kuro Sengoku Soybeans is the best combination salad, mixing soft pumpkin, the flavor of Kuro Sengoku soybeans, and the gentle sweetness of honey!

- Hiryutou is filled with Kuro Sengoku soybeans, Kuro Sengoku soybean meat, and other vegetables!
Deep-fried hot Kuro Sengoku soybeans with hiryuzuto
- Codfish with crumbled tofu, cooked soybeans, corn, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, green beans, etc. mixed in.
Kuro Sengoku Soybean Chips
- Slices of Kuro Sengoku soybean meat fried crispy and dusted with curry powder. Served with chili sauce
Kuro Sengoku Soybean Ice Cream Brown Sugar Flavor
- Brown sugar flavored brown sengoku sauce melts into the ice cream. Served with a white rice dumpling filled with kurousengoku soybean flour. Topped with black sengoku chips & raspberries sprinkled with kinako (soybean flour)!
- A large cast of personalities come together to create a gorgeous ice cream that mixes a variety of flavors and textures!
