Town-sponsored meetings and other events scaled back or postponed through Tuesday, March 31
In response to Hokkaido's declaration of a state of emergency, the Town of Hokuryu has extended the reduction or postponement of town-sponsored meetings and events, which were originally scheduled through Thursday, March 19, to Tuesday, March 31.
In addition, the community center, Kaizen Center (gymnasium), library, local history museum, Hekisui Ikigai Center, Mibagyu Training Center, town-owned ski resort, processing center Palm, and tourism center will be closed until March 31 (Tue.).
Town ski resort ends for the season.
This will be the end of the town's ski season for this year.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the residents of the town and ask for your continued cooperation in preventing the spread of infectious diseases.
From the Hokuryu Town Board of Education: Lending Library Books
We would like to inform you about the book lending service at the library. The library is currently closed due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, but we will accept consultations on book loans over the phone.
Although you will not be allowed to enter the library, you can check out books by calling the library and coming to the community center to pick them up.
Reception: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Borrowing reservations by phone are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
