☆Introduction to the stone monument inscribed with a haiku inscription at "Yew Forest" in Hokuryu Town
✣"The Frost Forest: A Place Connected to Kosei" by Reiko Yamamoto
・Juhyo forest is a winter seasonal word. When it gets cold, the fog particles turn to ice and freeze onto the branches of the trees, creating a white ice cover.
The frost-covered trees, like flowers blooming in the bitter cold, seem to be heading towards the path of haiku, and many stone monuments bearing haiku have been erected here, guided by the great master Hokkosei. This is the place where Hokkosei sowed the seeds of haiku.
