On April 16, Hokkaido will open a café in Taichung City, Taiwan, called "Ai Ai Hokkaido Coffee" to expand sales channels for Hokkaido products. In addition to incorporating Hokkaido ingredients into the menu, the café will also sell single items on a trial basis. The goal is to expand sales channels by promoting the appeal of Hokkaido products. This is the first time for Hokkaido to develop a café business overseas. The Hokkaido Information Center (Sapporo City) has established a local subsidiary, which will be managed by the Hokkaido Prefectural Government.
