On Monday, July 3, 2023, and Thursday, June 29, from 1:50 PM, a Hokuryu Fire Drill will be held in the north parking lot of Hokuryu Town Hall to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Hokuryu Fire Brigade (Chief Nakayama Shigeyuki). A commemorative ceremony and celebration will be held at the Hokuryu Town Civic Hall from 4:00 PM.
