Shinryu Shrine "Dontoyaki" - A heartfelt prayer for the eradication of epidemics and the arrival of a brighter world free from illness and disaster.
Tuesday, January 11, 2022 Yesterday, Monday, January 10, the "Donto Yaki" festival was held at Shinryu Shrine. The "Donto Yaki" festival is a solemn ritual to send off Toshigami-sama (the New Year's god of fertility), and the purifying power of the sacred fire is used to ward off misfortune.
