④ Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen Located along National Route 275, this hot spring inn is the 17th roadside station in Hokkaido. Sunflower Park Hokuryu Onsen opened in June 1992 and was renovated in October 1994.
⑦ Yew Forest and Literary Forest This forest was created by the people of Hokuryu, driven by their desire to preserve nature. Along the walking trails, you can find a monument to a poem by Yoshiue Shoryo, who has ties to Hokuryu, and a statue of a man nicknamed "Dorokame" from the University of Tokyo Experimental Forest in Furano.

The 1989 Sunflower Park Basic Concept was developed around 164 Itaya along National Route 275, to develop a rural resort that combined agriculture and tourism. The project took place over five years, starting in 1990, with a total construction cost of approximately 1.6 billion yen.
