(Sapporo City), titled "Donation to Hokuryu Town: JA Kita-Sorachi Federation Donates 2.5 Tons of Nanatsuboshi Rice to School Lunches in Five Cities and Towns Including Fukagawa, Bringing Local Flavors Even Amid Soaring Rice Prices."
The article states that "the cooperative will use the funds to provide one month's worth of school lunches for approximately 1,400 children and students in the one city and four towns of Fukagawa, Moseushi, Chichibetsu, Numata, and Hokuryu."
