"Thank you to everyone who participated in the Hokuryu Bon Odori Festival.

We were worried about the weather today, but we are very pleased that the event was a great success under clear skies.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the chairman of the Hokuryu Town Sunflower Tourism Association, the members of Hokuryu Taiko, and the Traffic Safety Association. We would also like to thank the chamber of commerce members who donated, and everyone who donated from outside the town.

This year, the sunflowers at Himawari no Sato have been blooming beautifully for a long time. I think we have been blessed with such beautiful flowers. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people who have come to see the sunflowers during this time. Thank you very much!

The Bon Odori dance is coming to an end. The judging has just begun. Good luck!

There will be a fireworks display at Himawari no Sato until the judging is complete. The results will be announced after the fireworks display. We hope you enjoy the fireworks.

Finally, I would like to conclude my remarks by wishing all of you who are participating today good health, happiness, and continued success in your work.

"Thank you very much for today!!!" said Chairman Fujii.

A fireworks display that lights up the midsummer night sky (fireworks + lighting)

While waiting for the Bon Odori judging, the venue was moved to the grassy area of Himawari no Sato, where a fireworks display was held. The magnificent fireworks that shot up before our eyes painted a dream of light in the midsummer night sky.
