Tuesday, July 30, 2024

On Monday, July 29, singer-songwriter Yuya Hoshino, 37, visited Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki of Hokuryu Town.

Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki brought a bouquet of sunflowers to support Yuya Hoshino's live performance in Sapporo in June. The visit to Hokuryu Town was realized as a thank-you visit on that day.

Yuya Hoshino and Mayor Sasaki have had a long relationship since Mayor Sasaki was the chairman of the Hokuryu Town Council! This connection was made possible by the fact that these two people cherish their precious relationships with wonderful people.

Let's enliven the town of Hokuryu with song!

Mayor Sasaki and Ms. Hoshino discussed the topic of "enlivening the town of Hokuryu through song".

Sunflower Village in the Rain

Unfortunately, it was raining that day!

However, Mr. Hoshino said with a smile, "I also love sunflowers wet in the rain! I like the way the sunflowers look shiny and moist in the rain," he said with a smile.

And as if to welcome Yuya Hoshino, the sunflower buds in the jumbo maze began to blossom en masse.

Mr. Hoshino visited all the tourist centers and snapped a commemorative photo with the store staff!
