The 37th Hokuryu-cho Snow Festa YUUKINKO Festival was held on February 23 (Fri.) from 1:00 p.m. behind the Hokuryu-cho Rural Environment Improvement Center. More than 100 town residents, including nursery school children, elementary school students, energetic children from the town and their families, gathered to enjoy winter snow play to the fullest.

Blue skies in the morning with blue sky!
In the afternoon, the weather gradually turned dubious with snow clouds looming in the western sky.
The softly falling cotton snowflakes managed to hold off without blowing until the end of the Festa.
Both children and adults smile!
At the Yukinko Festival, there are many fun events such as a treasure hunt game running around a snow field, a flag-first game of snow flags, and a snowmobile experience on a banana board!
Running around on the fluffy snow, "Fight! Go for it!" It's so much fun! and "It's fun!
A huge snow slide with snow tubes is set up in the venue! A long line of people waiting for their turn to slide down the snow slide is lined up at the top of the snow slide.

This year, La Pont Neige, a crepe kitchen car for your enjoyment, will be at the Community Center parking lot!

Today, we will play two games, "Treasure Hunt" and "Snow Flag", followed by a snowmobile experience. Please enjoy yourselves without getting hurt and get lots of sweets at the end of the day! Thank you very much for your cooperation today.

Treasure Hunt Game
The first to catch the plastic balls containing the number cards scattered on the white snowfield!

Start lying on your stomach facing the opposite direction, get up at the go signal, and the one who gets to the flag first wins.
Snowmobile Experience
Snowmobiles piloted by members of the HMK (Hekisui Mobil Kumiai) pull banana boards with children on board and drive around the snowfield in a dynamic manner!
Snow Tube Snow Mountain Sliding
A snow slide on a popular snow tube that keeps people waiting in line!
Snow piles were created using large construction equipment.
The moment you enjoy the snow so much that you don't even feel the cold and chill of the snow, your mind and body will feel warm and fuzzy!
