View this post on Instagram # Evacuation Supplies: There are dangers in the mountains. Since we often work with small groups, risk management is key. First, brown bears. We haven't seen one yet, but there are signs here and there. We'd prefer to avoid encountering them if possible. Even if we do, we'd prefer to settle things peacefully, but just in case, we always carry a # bear spray. Then there's # Forest Incense. It'll keep you away from mosquitoes and other nuisances while you're working. It's more powerful than mosquito coils. # Anti-Horsefly Spray: I don't use it often, but it's effective if you accidentally touch a hornet's nest with a backhoe or get swarmed by Japanese hornets. While I don't have a photo, it's a good idea to have a # Poison Remover and an EpiPen on hand. What do you bring to the mountains? The second picture is my buddy.
