Praying for a bountiful harvest!

As August begins, the rice fields become even more vibrant and radiant green.
The spikes emerge from between the leaf sheaths, and small white flowers (stamens) bloom.
The pollen from the stamens then falls onto the pistil, fertilizing it. The ears will gradually swell and in about a month will be plump and ripe, beginning to shine golden.

We pray for a bountiful harvest from our hearts, and offer limitless love, gratitude, and prayers for a bountiful autumn harvest.
