We are pleased to introduce the article "Overcoming Difficulties to Succeed in a Second Melon Crop" by Yasunori Watanabe, a resident of Hokuryu Town, which was featured in the "Vegetables and Flowers Section" of Volume 101, Issue 7 (published July 1, 2022) of "Modern Agriculture," published by the Rural Culture Association (Inc.).

Yasunori Watanabe, who cultivates melons, rice, and sake rice, is a Hokkaido agricultural instructor who is active as a leader, devoting his efforts to training and guiding the next generation of agricultural leaders and promoting local agriculture.
