Hiroko Yoshio, 74, a resident of Hokuryu Town, had her collection of haiku, "Hanakada (flower raft)," selected for the 42nd Samejima Prize (sponsored by the Hokkaido Haiku Association), and was featured in an article in the Hokkaido Shimbun [electronic edition].
Hiroko Yoshio lives in Biyagyu, Hokuryu-cho and is active in the Hokkaido Haiku Association, Hokuryu Branch. Congratulations to her!
