The September 14th edition of NHK Hokkaido News Web featured an article about a kagami mochi rice cake made with Hakucho mochi rice cakes from Hokuryu Town being donated to a shrine in Iwamizawa. The rice cakes were donated by the Sorachi Agricultural Cooperative Association.
