Third graders at Shinryu Elementary School learn about growing cherry blossoms in 2025 through hands-on experience. We are grateful for the great cherry blossom trees of Hokuryu Town that grow healthy together!
On Monday, June 30, 2025, the third graders of Shinryu Elementary School participated in the 10th annual "Cherry Blossom Growing Experience Learning." Under the guidance of the Kita Sorachi Forestry Association, the students experienced the work of collecting seeds from cherry blossoms and sowing them in the fields. These cherry blossoms will be grown by the students in three years.
