On Saturday, September 20th, you can experience a magical moment as a small stone transforms into an adorable cat in your hands."Stone Cat Art Class"The event will be held at the Hokuryu Town Senior Citizens Welfare Center and is sponsored by the Hokuryu Town Social Welfare Council's "Minna no Hiroba Omusubi" (Everyone's Square Rice Ball).
All you need is acrylic paint and your own imagination. As you gaze intently at the shapes and patterns of the stones, you might even imagine a cat's soft back and round eyes. This is an art experience that anyone can enjoy, from children to adults, whether they love drawing or aren't so good at it.
Lecturer: Tadashi Seto, an artist living in Hokuryu Town
The lecturer will be an artist living in Hokuryu Town.Tadashi SetoThe cats, painted on stones on the riverbank with warm, almost lifelike expressions, are also entertaining many visitors at the Hokuryu Town Cultural Festival.
Mr. Seto breathes life into each and every cat with love, making the most of the natural shapes and colors of the stones. Why not create your own special "stone cat" under his warm guidance?
