Lively monthly activity report meeting held

On Wednesday, July 23rd, from 4pm, Hokuryu Town held its monthly activity report meeting in the town hall reception room. This time, a total of 12 people, including 4 village supporters and 8 local revitalization cooperation team members, reported on their activities for June.

This monthly report meeting has been held every month since April 2024, after Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki took office. It is a valuable opportunity for Mayor Yasuhiro Sasaki, Deputy Mayor Masaaki Okuda, Town Future Strategy Section Chief Yayoi Kawamoto, Section Chief Chiaki Mori, as well as the village supporters and local revitalization cooperation team members who are expected to contribute to the town's future, to gather together to share activities and exchange opinions.

Wide-ranging activity reports and future prospects

The presentation session covered a wide range of topics, including the following, and saw a lively exchange of opinions.

• Introducing the new members
• Status of Hokuryu Town Portal Site
• Hokuryu Town Agricultural and Livestock Products Direct Sales Store Minoritch's strategy to attract customers and increase sales
• Planning and implementation of agricultural experiences and various events
• Hokuryu Town Sunflower Tourism Association SNS operation status
• Proposing new plans for regional development
• Agricultural production and shipping status
• Future organizational management policy

It was a very productive session, with unresolved issues and risks being shared, and specific action items for future activities being reported.

A passionate message from Mayor Sasaki

Upon hearing the report, Mayor Sasaki's eyes lit up as he gave the team members his best wishes.

"Everyone, please don't be shy and say whatever you want.

I hope that you will always keep in your hearts the great desire to "do something for the town." I look forward to your activities so that this town can continue to shine even a little, so I ask for your continued support.

I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone's activities will develop in the future and how this town will change. There are many difficult things, but the various changes are very interesting and I'm very excited!"
