We tasted Japanese butterbur stew and takikomi gohan (rice cooked with butterbur) using butterbur purchased at Minorikchi Hokuryu!

Simmered Japanese butterbur
Slowly cook Japanese butterbur with shredded carrot in white soup stock, mirin, soy sauce, water, and hawk's claw.

steamed rice mixed with vegetables and meat or fish
For Fukki no Gohan, rice is cooked by seasoning rice with carrots & butterbur & kombu.
Soup: A soup with a variety of medicinal herbs and ingredients.
Accompanying pickles: Takana and kikurage mushrooms stewed in soy sauce
Enjoy spring by tasting plenty of "Fukki," a seasonal vegetable that is sure to make you feel the arrival of spring!
Let the weather be fine! and prayed to the teru teru bozu.
