View this post on Instagram Here is the first work of #: # forest survey and # bamboo cutting. First, we surveyed the forest before cutting the bamboos. We made a plot and counted the number of bamboos and the number of budding trees (=baby trees). After that, by cutting the bamboos, light will enter the forest floor and sprouts will emerge from the buried nuts, promoting the natural renewal of the # forest. The number of plants and flowers other than bamboos will also increase, bringing the forest closer to a forest with high # diversity. We are looking forward to seeing how much the number of sprouts will increase in a few years. # Forestry# Small forestry#TTokkaido# Hokkaido# Hokuryu-cho, Uryu-gun# Hokuryu-cho# Forest# Forestry# Local wood# Firewood# Hodaki# Forestry in Hokkaido# Self-cut forestry# Sustainable living1TP 5T Living with Nature# Satoyama Management# Rural Life# Forestry for Living with Nature# Under Nature subnatural(A post shared by @shizenka2020 - July 16, 2020, 5:33 a.m. PDT
