I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Kitasukochi Shinkin Bank for these promotion fund activities and for their commitment to the development of the community.
We, Aina Mama, are a group of women farmers celebrating 25 years since our establishment. Looking back on our past activities, we have renewed our determination to pass on to the next generation of farmers the safe and secure agricultural products we aim to produce and process, including our activities and product development.
I am applying for this opportunity because I believe it is one of the few opportunities to expose you to our 25 years of activities and to show you how fun and rewarding farming can be.
I would like to thank all the consumers in the neighborhood who have supported me, the related organizations that have guided me, my good and trustworthy colleagues, and my family who have always understood and encouraged me.
We will use this award as encouragement to continue our efforts to improve our skills. Thank you very much for your kind attention today," said Representative Chizuru Ueki.

'This award comes only five years after we opened our doors on April 2, 2016. We are very grateful to the community for their support, and although we do not know how much recognition we have received from the community, we hope to use this as an opportunity to further develop and continue our work."
Susumu Asano, Executive Director
Hekisui Support Group was established with 36 members and now has 41 members. At the time of its establishment, we explained about the Hekisui Support Group at various gatherings, including the Japanese Red Cross Society, the town's clubs, promotion associations, and senior citizens' associations, and sought the understanding and cooperation of as many people as possible to join the group.
We also visited support groups in other parts of Hokkaido, and discussed the details of their activities. When building the Support Center, we took into account the various opinions of our members.
Activities include karaoke club, Marugoto Genki Up Class, Dandelion Club, and Go, which are held three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm) for free enjoyment. Once a month (10 times a year), a luncheon is held for senior citizens living alone. These luncheons are provided with boxed lunches cooked by volunteers who are members of the club. We are truly grateful for this award, which recognizes the sincerity and dedication of our members.
We would like to congratulate the members of Hekisui Support Group for winning the "Judges' Special Award of the FY 2020 Kitan Hometown Promotion Fund"!
For love of the community, revitalization and development of the community
To the sincere souls of those who continue to work diligently to connect people's hearts and minds and move forward with all their might,
With endless love, gratitude and smiles.
