Hokuryu Town's circle lights up the summer night! The Hokuryu Bon Odori Festival, with its spectacular prizes, will be held on August 18th

As the summer sun becomes a little gentler and the night breeze feels pleasant, the Hokuryu Bon Odori Festival, a heart-warming night festival that marks the end of summer in Hokuryu Town, will be held again this year.

As the sound of drums resonates and the warm light of lanterns shines, a large circle of dancers spreads across Himawari no Sato. Come with your family, friends, or even just by yourself. Come and create some great summer memories!

Hokuryu Bon Odori Festival Event Overview

One of the great attractions of Hokuryu Town's Bon Odori is the fantastic prizes! You can show off the results of your daily practice, or just enjoy dancing by imitating others. Why not join the dance circle and aim for a wonderful prize?

• Individual Division:The winning prize isEquivalent to 30,000 yenThere will be prizes for 2nd to 30th place.
• Group Division (5 or more people):What is the winning prize?Equivalent to 100,000 yenThe top teams will receive luxurious prizes, with second place receiving 70,000 yen and third place receiving 50,000 yen.

A one-night-only celebration created by the entire town

This Bon Odori festival is supported by the generous donations and cooperation of the Hokuryu Sunflower Tourism Association, which is the organizer, the Hokuryu Chamber of Commerce, which is in charge, and the countless local businesses whose names are featured on the back of the poster. It is truly a festival created by the townspeople, by the townspeople, and for the townspeople, all of which are brought together by the townspeople.
