The Hokkaido Shimbun Digital website operated by the Hokkaido Shimbun Press (Sapporo City) has published an article (dated June 24th) entitled "Stockpiled rice sales begin in northern Sorachi as people queue at major supermarkets: 'Finally we can buy it cheaply'", which we would like to introduce to you.

The article states, "Mitsuo Sato (45), owner of the set meal restaurant "Himawari" in Hokuryu Town, said, 'As long as I'm running a restaurant, I want to use rice grown by reliable producers. I want to stick to 100% Hokuryu production.'"
