New Disaster Prevention and Administration Radio Door-to-Door Receiver
As a result, the current disaster prevention administrative radio receivers installed in each household will be out of service by the end of March 2021.
Deadline for submitting applications for door-to-door receivers (loan and installation) is Friday, October 30.
If you have not yet submitted the application form, please submit it to the General Affairs Section, General Affairs Division (in charge of disaster prevention) by Friday, October 30, 2020.
Businesses with an address in the town can also rent the equipment free of charge. If you wish to borrow a unit, please apply to the General Affairs Section (in charge of disaster prevention) of the General Affairs Division.
Installation will begin in January 2021.
New receivers will be installed and existing receivers will be collected from January 2021 for households and offices that have applied for the service. In some areas, it may be necessary to install an outdoor receiver antenna, so we ask for your cooperation in this matter.
The installer will contact you in advance to schedule the work, as installation schedules vary from region to region.
No charge for rental and installation of door-to-door receivers
There is no charge for the rental and installation of door-to-door receivers. In addition, the basic cost of the antenna installation will be covered by the town, so the contractor who visits you will not ask you for money or ask you to transfer money.
