The 2024 Autumn Festival of Shinryu Shrine was held in Hokuryu-cho from September 8 (Sun.) to 10 (Tue.).

2024 Autumn Festival at Shinryu Shrine
- Sunday, September 8 :small festival held the night before a full festival

imperial procession
The procession on Monday, September 9, will depart from in front of the Shinryu Shrine at 9:50 a.m., travel from the 1st to the 5th Otabisho, and return to the temple at around 12:30 p.m. The first service will be held on September 9, and the second service will be held on September 10.
The Goryojo are Eirakuen, Wa Commissary, Itaya Commissary, Nishigawa Commissary, and Mitani Commissary.
The "Town Karaoke Festival" (6:00 p.m. on the 9th at the main hall of the community center) and "Park Golf Tournament" (10:30 a.m. on the 10th at the grounds) will be held as dedicated entertainment.

Sand for the ceremony
At the place where the portable shrines are set up, morisuna (saisuna) is placed on green bamboos at the four corners where shimenawa (sacred straw ropes) are strung.

◉ Rice, sake, rice cakes, dried fish (kelp), fish, vegetables (radish, cucumber, carrot, rape leaves), fruits (grapes, banana), salt, water, sweets (rice crackers)

This year, the lion dance performance was not held due to circumstances. The visit to the shrine was completed without delay!
After the visit to the shrine, the portable shrine heads for the 3rd Otabisho with a shout of "Yoiya-sa! the portable shrine heads for the 3rd Otabisho.
Golden Phoenix
With boundless love, gratitude and prayers, the phoenixes on the portable shrine ornaments shine in gold and flap their wings in the clear autumn sky high in the sky, bringing great harmony and peace to the autumn festival.
