The following is the state of blooming at Sunflower Village around 07:00 on July 16 (Tue.).
Jumbo Maze (maze near tourist center)
The sunflowers are growing taller and taller each day.
It is growing strong and vigorously with strong stems.
And the word for this year's "Jumbo Maze" is "HOHOEMI".
May the radiance of Sunflower's energetic power smile on people all over the world and fill the world with smiles!
Cat's Paw Maze (maze near the duck pond)
In the "Cat's Paw Maze," a field on the west side of the park golf course, tiny yellow sunflowers were seen.
Sunflowers around the world (being grown by students at Hokuryu Junior High School)
Several types of sunflowers are beginning to bloom in the sunflower plots around the world.
Only five days remain until the 38th Hokuryu Town Sunflower Festival, which opens on Saturday, July 20!
May the smiling faces of the sunflowers in Himawari no Sato fill the world with happy power and may the world begin to glow with happiness!
I am very much looking forward to meeting these wonderful sunflowers!
