Hokuryu Town is located in the center of Hokkaido, in the northern part of the Sorachi region, and is a small town with a population of about 1,600. It is the town of the northern dragon, with a symbol of a sunflower that shines like the sun.

Play baseball during your lunch break with a glove gifted by Shohei Ohtani

At Hokuryu Town Shinryu Elementary School, children enjoy playing baseball for 15 minutes every day during their lunch break using gloves donated by Shohei Ohtani.

Baseball time started in May this year!
Along with Vice Principal Goji Kitagawa and other teachers, students from first to sixth grade are free to participate, playing batting and catch with bats, balls, and gloves.

Baseball play time filled with children's smiles and happy cheers!

With boundless love, gratitude, and prayers, we wish Shohei Ohtani, whose kindness towards children is conveyed through his glove, the joy and fun of baseball to the hearts of children, a wonderful time spent playing baseball.
