☆ Introduction of the "Yew Forest" haiku monument in Hokuryu Town

✣"Juhyorin here is the place associated with Kousei" Reiko Yamamoto

Juhyorin (樹氷林) is a winter seasonal word. It refers to the way fog particles become ice and freeze on the white branches of trees when it gets cold.

The trees and ice like flowers blooming in the severe cold seem to be aiming for the path of haiku, and many haiku monuments have been erected under the guidance of the great master, Hokkousei. This is the place where Hokkousei planted the seeds of his haiku.
