The cover photo of the new book "Running the Earth: From the World's Leprosy Sites" written by Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of the Nippon Foundation, features "Sunflowers in Ukraine". The cover photo of the book features a scene reminiscent of the Sunflower Village in Hokuryu Town, Ukraine.

This book is a record of Chairman Yohei Sasakawa's 552 activities (3,399 days) in 70 countries over a period of about 40 years and 552 times in 70 countries toward the eradication of leprosy and the elimination of discrimination against people affected by leprosy. For the cover photo, he chose "Sunflowers" without hesitation from among the candidates.
