Group home Hekisui
- A familiar life like home
At Group Home Hekisui, we aim to enable residents to maintain their lifestyles in a homely environment and atmosphere. In dementia care, instead of taking care of all aspects of daily life, we watch over our residents, assess their remaining functions, and take the time to support them so that they can live at their own pace.
- Small group, heartfelt care
In a small group home, residents can take their time and even elderly people with dementia can understand each other, become comfortable with each other, and live together with smiles on their faces. We can provide individualized care by focusing on each resident. As a result, residents can build deep relationships of trust with each other, enabling high-quality care.
- A living environment that respects privacy
All rooms are private and are 7.5 tatami mats in size, and are equipped with a living room/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and four shared toilets, allowing residents to live in an environment similar to that of a home. As all rooms are private, privacy can be maintained, and all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, allowing residents to spend their time alone. Another feature is the living room where residents can relax and unwind, where they can watch TV or chat with other residents as they wish.
- A relaxing living space
Depending on the symptoms of dementia, providing a familiar and easy-to-live-in environment can help keep the physical and mental condition calm. In addition, we aim to maintain the self-esteem of elderly dementia patients and provide person-centered care, helping them to live a satisfying daily life that heals their mind and body.
- Peace of mind support for families
By regularly sending letters and calling family members to report on the user's physical and living conditions and to provide consultation, we are able to provide an environment where we can be close to the family members even when they are far away, feel like we are with them, and can support the user. In the event of an emergency, we work with cooperating medical institutions to build a safe and secure system that can respond quickly.
- Psychological support
We build relationships of trust with our residents and their families, and value their opinions so that we can be good advisors. We support our residents so that they can live in peace and harmony as themselves.
