Today, Monday, September 22nd, is a new moon. Silence spread across the dawn sky, and the soft morning sun peeked out in the crisp, clear air.
It's a refreshing sight, fitting for the start of a new month.
Then, in the early hours of yesterday, the 21st (Sunday), we received news that a thin layer of the first snow had been observed near the summit of Mount Asahi in the Daisetsuzan mountain range.
The seasons are quietly progressing from summer to autumn and then to winter.
The refreshing morning light and the news of the first snow. The melodies of nature's transitions bring a moment of calm and relaxation to the soul.
